Post by hostonnet » Thu Aug 06, 2020 12:06 pm

My joomla website hacked.

Renamed public_html to public_html_hacked

Created new folder public_html and uploaded fresh copy of joomla (Joomla_3.9.20-Stable-Full_Package)and then uploaded configuration.php and images folder from hacked folder.

Admin password resetted. Debug enabled. Here is the message getting in home page

Function Location

1. () JROOT/libraries/src/Component/ComponentHelper.php:367
2. Joomla\CMS\Component\ComponentHelper::renderComponent() JROOT/libraries/src/Application/SiteApplication.php:194
3. Joomla\CMS\Application\SiteApplication->dispatch() JROOT/libraries/src/Application/SiteApplication.php:233
4. Joomla\CMS\Application\SiteApplication->doExecute() JROOT/libraries/src/Application/CMSApplication.php:196
5. Joomla\CMS\Application\CMSApplication->execute() JROOT/index.php:49

You should visit https://mysites.guru and subscribe or run a scan. First scan is free. Site is run by Phil Taylor, a Joomla ans security expert and he will be able to help you properly for a little fee. You need to cleans your site completely and both Webdongle and I have written articles how to do this but for sure running this through mysites.guru is way more faster and better for sure

Yes. If you can afford it getting a professional like Phil is by far preferable.
