Hyperlinked in place of username and hidden urls in easydiscuss forum

Hi,

Please help me. My easydiscuss forum is hacked by some [redacted]. Please check the attached image. In my forum the first forum post user name is replaced with a url. If I delete the first post then it move on to the next post. When I checked the source there are hidden links in the forum main page. Please help. All this under the "div" tag, discuss-user-name mv-5

Sorry if I'm rude, but Joomla forum is almost dead. No response at all. If it was 5 years ago, I would have already got 5 or 6 replies in just 15 min. Very sad.

Have you heard about stickies?
They are located on the top of the forum you have posted in.
Strange you haven't noticed them the last five years.

Asside from the frivolity, it's difficult to reply or help without knowing more about your site and its hosting environment. You have advised as to the symptom but you need to know the cause so you can sort it out.

Follow the advice in Webdongle's post and, also, I'd recommend a visit to myjoomla.com and submit your site for a (free first) security audit.

Doing both of these things will help you a great deal

Sorry, but I personally have no experience of using Easy Discuss (in Joomla or any other CMS).
