xss vulnerability

I update joomla to 3.8.8 and provider send me an email to patch the xss vulnerability on /templates/protstar/html/com_media/imageslist/default_folder.php

But the vulnerability are corrected on 3.8.8 or not?

yes, Joomla 3.8.8 corrected some xss vulnerabilities,
