Hacker generated False Pages broken robots.txt

Post by madamsplash » Thu May 30, 2019 3:00 am

Hi - can anybody advise how I can remove the coding that produces this link from our site.

Page address generated is /?option=com_jmap&view=sitemap&tmpl=component&jmap_module=107
I have checked through phpmyadmin to see if I can find any relative modules but cannot. Have discussed with the maker of the component (JSitemap) but they cannot shed any light either ...

The hackers break the robots.txt file then scrape all cms code, with this they get quite creative by submitting fake pages to the search engines - it is a black hat SEO technique - it back fired on them as we have shut them out - but this link remains and will soon penalise the site

1. Checked for old cache - cleaned it out and invested in LightSpeed (link remains)
2. Redirections killed these a long time ago - but resurrected to see if I can redirect this ink, but not allowed
3. Have reinstalled the JSitemap program and upgraded Joomla to latest version (link remains)
4. Have examined modules looking for code I can change, e.g. make a new module with this number (not done yet)
