First error is probably permissions. The process needs to create a directory and cant
The second is probably because of the first. The file did not get uploaded
Does this happen when you try to install other extensions?
Also, check the filesize and your max_upload file size setting

You can increase your upload file size in .htaccess by adding
php_value upload_max_filesize 20m
Your directories should be 755
Your files should be 644
The owner of the directories and files may not be correct.
Is this a new install?
Have you made changes or upgrades before having this problem?
