Unable to update DropEditor

I have updates I cannot do

It says I need to "login in the component" and when I go to the component it says its already logged in.

The url given from the error update leading to nowhere ..

Anyone can help ?

Can't you update by installing the latest version (download from the JED) then install via Extensions Manager?

https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/dropeditor/ (last update 1 August 2024).

Suggest contacting the Drop Editor developers for assistance?

Hey thanks for the quick answer,

I managed to install Dropeditor, good point there.

But I still do have 2x updates on Droppics & Dropfiles that are show the following errors :
" Your subscription is outdated, please renew your subscription in order to access the updates.Go to Joomunited "

I made few researchs and it seems like in order to use both Droppics and Dropfiles properly I need to pay a subscribtion ( like 40 dollars per year ).

I reached JoomUnited support that refuses to give me informations unless Im subscribed. But since I dont know if subscribing will resolve my issue, I wont make the move.
I also asked if Dropics was ever free before it became paid? No answers about this I'm stil clueless.

Context : Im someone taking back a project left by the author.
I asked the author if he was paying for Droppics which he replied "no I didnt".
Maybe the author forgot about his own subscribtion. I dont know.

What Im left with is a Droppics interface very limited to what I've seen on [youtube] done by other people, some said there were actually paying a subscribtion.

If it's a paid extension then yes, you need to have an active subscription to access the updates.

DropEditor is free; DropFiles and DropPics are paid extensions.

I cant even find where/how you link joomunited account to joomla

In the Dropfiles administrator in Joomla there is a Live Update link. It should show if your account is connected to Joomunited. Once you have renewed your subscription to the Dropfiles extension in the Joom united website your Joomla site will be able to update Dropfiles.

If you need to buy a new subscription I'd suggest you do. The JED listing for DropFiles (and DropPics) leads to the developers web page which has a "Presales Questions" link. That could be your first point of contact - or otherwise simply buy the license(s) you require to use those extensions.

The extensions' documentation tells you how to link your JoomUnited account in the extension options to receive updates:
