CodeMirror text area is not resizable

Post by AlanCast » Wed Mar 20, 2013 1:25 am

1. CodeMirror text area is not resizable (see screenshot).
It has only 8 strings, which is hardly usable.

Bug exists in Firefox 19.0, Opera 12.14.

When I unpublish (turn off) CodeMirror, the basic editing text area IS resizable.

2. Can I substitute CodeMirror with some other editor for backend, e.g. for template files editing?

Thanx.

That appears not working for template editing. I installed it, then disabled "CodeMirror" and "No Editor", so JCEditor launched for template's index.php, but it didn't show PHP elements.
Also I get the message that for template files I need to enable CodeMirror or No Editor. So we can't substitute CodeMirror, only turn it off.

Thank you.
Localhost site files can be edited freely at all... Good idea.
