Media Folder Problems

I am upgarding an existing site on my computer (localhost). The fault I have was definitly created by myself when I played around with the Paths to Folders and Paths to Images in >Media>Options>Media Tab.
I have Joomla 3.7.0, JCE Extensions, JCE Content Plugin, JCE Editor.

So whats happening?
1. When using the JCE Edtor I have to select the Image Icon at the bottom of the Editor. Once the image is in the text and I want to size, position ,etc I have to select Image Icon above the text area.
2. Today I created a new folder but cannot open it to view the contents.
3. I altered the Path to Folders/Images a few different ways and made things worse.
a. One gave me no Thumbnail views
b. Some seemed locked when I clicked them
c. Now I cannot see any of the files, the File Management doesnt appear when I click on Media it just goes to

I think that I am using A JCE Plugin for managing media?
Does that give you an idea of how messy its got?

Issued solved:
I did a few more hours research that led to a search that lead to an article on Editor Parameters:

So my steps im Joomla were to:
JCE Administraton: Editor Profiles
Default>Editor Parameters>File System
Changed File Directory Path from root/images to images.
Simple when you know how.
