No search results!

I'm running v3.6.5 successfully. I recently rolled up to v3.7.0 (before v3.7.1) and received an error (too many redirects), so I restored a backup to v3.6.5 until I have time to troubleshoot.

Now on my restored version, I have no search results. I'm using the standard Search plugin (Smart Search is disabled).

I've cleared cache, rebooted, toggled the Search plugin, changed templates, tried different users, and Googled for hours.

Any suggestions?

This was fixed by turning on smart search, indexing, and disabling smart search. Not sure why, but I'm not complaining :)
