Updating JCE Editor Pro

Hi,

I`m trying to update JCE Editor Pro from Extension Update section, but it wont go through giving me the following message
Error
Failed to download package. Download it and install manually from https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/ind ... ce_pro.zip.
×
My question is, is it safe to update the package manually?

I`m running joomla 3.8.5

I have had issues trying to do this from websites so for JCE Editor (free core version) I downloaded the zip file from their site to my computer then installed via Manage, Install, browse to my computer and select the file. It goes ahead and installs. I have had no issues. There is a Plugin called Web installer. Others may know if this needs attention.

@lovejoomi Do you still have a valid download id/support package? If not you cannot download it. Anyhow it is safe to install manually (We use it on all our sites and our client sites)
