Search keeps pulling up DOCman articles.

I'm using Universal AJAX Live Search 5.4.6 on my website.

Every search returns articles from DOCman, which are not applicable (they are mostly just minutes from meetings).

Does anyone know of a Search Module which allows one to assign specific categories to include/exclude from search results?

Components like DOCman have their own Search and Finder (Smart Search) plugins. If you do not want to include any DOCman documents in the search results, disable the DOCman plugins.

Otherwise you need to clone the plugin and modify its behaviour, creating a new plugin which includes or excludes categories you want.
