LinkedIn look alike

Somewhere I saw an extension that claimed to perform like LinkedIn but for Joomla.
I am building a community for one commercial industry and what's missing is our own social media platform.
What I like about LinkedIn is it's ability to connect members voluntarily, notify members of posts, updates and promos, as well as messaging between members.
Anyone with some ideas?

It has function like Linkedin but not the appearance i'd guess

Most social networks extension do these features, and some offer login via Facebook / Twitter / Linkedin so that your new member doesn't need to register again in your website
