Google Structured Data extension issue?

Post by cff » Tue Apr 23, 2019 8:04 am

Hi,

We have Joomla 3.8 website + Google Structured Data Markup
https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... ta-markup/

I made a test of Google Structured Data in Google tool:
https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool

I tested several articles to see the google structure data.
As you can see in screenshot, Google see always the same data.
http://prntscr.com/nfmxcs

So I checked source code and I can see data structured of my menu instead of topic of my Joomla article.

http://prntscr.com/nfmzuh

So Google see always same Data structured. Even if I installed and activate athe Google Data Structured Markup, I don't the any result.

Is it normal?
WHat did I do wrong?

COuld you help me please to install correctly any Google Data Structure extension which give correct information to Google?

Thanks.

Hello, cff
to my knowledge GSD extension inserts code you set in configuration of it and if not specified that code will be shown everywhere.

If you want different structured data to be shown in different pages.
This is what you need to do:
1. Open GSD menu and article plugins and enable Fast edit option
2. Create article and save it
3. After that new tab will be visible in menu and article called Google Structured Data
4. Add and select what structured da you want.

P.S. I do not know if you are using free or pro version, this screenshot below is from pro version.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Do you have any idea to do that for all my articles at once! On a bluk way.
I have hundreds of articles. It is sad this extension request us to do it one by one.

There is no such option at GSD but you can ask developer to implement that option.
mr. Tassos is quite responsive to user needs atleast from my expirience.
