JSON feed to joomla site

Post by la-palma_cz » Mon Jul 08, 2019 4:01 pm

Hi all, I need to solve the following problem.
For some time I'm looking for information, but I can't get in them to get your bearings. I have a JSON feed from another site and I need the contents of the feed displayed on my site (J 3.9). Has anyone here with this experience?
Thank you for any help.

With PHP you could create your own module or component to display that feed.
Info about how to create a Joomla module: https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Creating_a ... sic_Module
PHP to display a feed: https://www.taniarascia.com/how-to-use- ... avascript/

There's also a free extension available to display JSON data in your article (however I do not have experience with this), see https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/json-content/

Hi, I used this plugin. The test feed works, but the feed from my supplier not.

"Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://www.domain.es/json/en/datos.php' from origin 'https://www.mydomain' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

I can solve this on my side?

Many thanks for help

Please read background information about CORS. For example, see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/CORS.

You will need to discuss this matter with you "supplier", i.e. the owner of the "other site".
