GitHub download draw a blank Topic is solved

Hi guys
The simple hit counter download takes me to the developer's page in Github. In it there is no .zip i can download to instal, so i am stuck. I do see codes & dont know what to. Someone please give a helping hand.

At github you have the option to download the code as zip.

Why is such an extension still listed in JED?

Much appreciate all your help .. AGAIN.

I think as a simple fast counter it still work I think even in Jm 4 .. to be confirmed. I use it in infrequently in occasional odd spot.

The Joomla update requirement is applicable only to new extensions, AFAIK.

If an extension does not work out-of-the-box in a currently supported version of Joomla, the extension should be reported, first to the developer separately, and if there is no response, to the JED team, by using the Report button in the JED entry.

I had a quick look at the source code. The source code seems to have been designed for J! 2.5 and does not conform to J! 3.8 coding standards (as a minimum). I would not recommend this extension in J! 4 in its present form.

Sozzled you are absolutely right it is to be dumped for Jm4.
Good thing I learn where to hit the download zip in GitHub .. thanks to good guys like you.
