Hello,

I tried with these steps and success:

1. Download the update package file.
2. Go to /administrator/index.php?option=com_joomlaupdate
3. Click Upload & Update tab.
4. Install by uploading the downloaded file (on step#1).

Hi Phamtungpth;
It works with your solution : :)

On my site :
Joomla! 3.6.4 is available: "Update Now"

So I clicked on "Update Now"

On index.php?option=com_joomlaupdate

I clicked on :

Update package URL --> https://downloads.joomla.org/cms/joomla ... pat=my.zip

I downloaded : Joomla_3.6.4-Stable-Update_Package.zip (10,3 Mo )

and I clicked 'Upload & Update tab.'

Joomla package file : Joomla_3.6.4-Stable-Update_Package.zip
Installation method : Write files directly

I clicked on 'Upload & Install'

I have a this message :
Are you sure you want to install the file you uploaded?

Make sure that the update file you have uploaded comes from the official Joomla download page.
Afterwards, please confirm that you want to install it by re-entering the login information for your site "My Site | http://www.mysite.ca" below.

Login and
I clicked "on Install'

Your site has been successfully updated. Your Joomla version is now 3.6.4.
:) :p

Many thanks

ERROR:
The archive file is corrupt, truncated or archive parts are missing

I have this problem on all my sites on localhost server (JAMP and XAMPP) Windows 10.
I think it happened when change the update server address to new

Code: Select all

https://downloads.joomla.org/cms/joomla3/3-6-4/joomla_3-6-4-stable-update_package-zip?format=zip&jcompat=my.zip

Same issue on my localhost XAMPP server on WIndows 8.
Joomla installer is upgraded.
Every Joomla website installed on XAMPP (approx 200 of them) experiences same error when attempting upgrade.
Paths are correctly set - it was working OK before. All components are installing normally.
However, downloading ZIP from Reinstall package URL and using Upload & Update works OK.
PHP 5.4.22, mysql 5.5.34

You are in the wrong forum. You don't have a Windows Server.
