Opening an article causes PHP Notice

Post by omkarghag21 » Mon Jan 23, 2017 12:57 pm

Hi,

I'm developing an intranet website, hosted on an internal server with IIS7.5 & PHP7.1
Opening an article from frontend gives "PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in <sitepath>\libraries\cms\application\site.php on line 100". I don't know what's wrong.
I am able to edit the article from backend, but not able to view it in the frontend.

Please help me.
Omkar.

are you entering "straight HTML" in the article?
Don't HACK the Joomla! core. Extend and Override.
Stay ON the update path.

Line 100 references the Menu Item. There may be something wrong with the default menu item.

Nope. WYSIWYG content.

Yes. But there's nothing wrong with the default menu item. I checked everything again, the access level, the menu type, etc.
