Joomla instalation has URL rewriting but menu module shows index.php

Post by kevin5862 » Tue Feb 27, 2018 10:39 am

I have a Joomla v3.7 installation running on an IIS 7 server (I have done many of these in the past) and I have turned on URL rewriting. While the URL's are working correctly for content the menu module is still generating URLs containing index.php.

I would appreciate any advice as to how I can get the URLs to be produced without the index.php

Reason: mod note: moved to 3.x Installation on IIS

Hi Kevin,

have you already checked this: System - Global configuration - SEO-settings?
