Assign specific user access to component record ID

Post by ramosja » Tue Jul 16, 2019 10:40 pm

Hello, l'm building a component that will have the record ID for each of the records. I need that when the user login they can only see the record that I've created that will be a calendar to be edited. So each user will have its own calendar.

Feedback will be appreciated,

Javier

Best way to think about this is to separate the calendar from the data in it. So load the calendar for all users then populate it with data specific to the user in question. There are ways to get a handle on the user through JFactory, then using that information, load the calendar with the appropriate data using an AJAX call or similar.
