Restrict user from VIEW as well on articles list

When restricting users to edit/create/delete only his category works fine, but I want to restrict them to not see when all articles are listed (/index.php?option=com_content&view=articles).

Is there any way to achieve this without override admin core files?

PS: I've attached a screenshot from version 4 but I'm facing this on 3.x as well

I was trying something to be hooked when the query is made, in content model, but I think only using plugins I can achieved this.
