Permissions of different users for different categories of articles.
Hallo
Is there an add-on that allows me to set the permissions of different users to different categories of articles? The point is that user x has access to add and edit articles of category x1 but no longer has permission to add and edit category x2. Is it possible in the administration panel?

Are all those users individual, unique, one-off cases or can you add users with similar requirements to their own usergroup?

I have regular users without the possibility of registering new users from the front side. I would like them to have access only to their articles with competences in the administration panel. Can you assign permissions in this way? At the moment, they have access to all articles.

Are the users creating articles from the front end or from the back end?
Use the permissions to control what each usergroup can see and edit: 3.x: Access Control List Tutorial
Actions like Create, Delete, Edit, Edit State and Edit Own control for example if users can publish articles as part of the work flow or just create them, or edit only articles that they themselves created.

Articles are published only from the backend level. It's about how to give the user access to specific articles that can be added and edited. In order for one user to see the article, another has not seen the articles and cannot edit them.

Try to assign users with particular access requirements to their own user group in Users - Manage and configure the permissions for each category of articles, as shown in the Access Control List (ACL) tutorial.

User groups set Registered as 'Parent'
Allow Admin login but everything else Inherited
In Article/Category Options Permissions Allow Access Admin interface
Allow Edit etc. per individual Categories.
N.B.
If you want them to access all components then Allow Access admin interface in Global config.

Re: Permissions of different users for different categories of articles.
Where exactly do I have to set so that only this one category and article are visible to the user I can not find it. I was able to set that the rest of the content is not edited by a user who does not have access to it. The point is, however, that he also does not see them in the administration panel. Is it possible?
