Using Gitlab for version control of a Joomla site

Post by steveorg » Sat Sep 22, 2018 5:36 pm

I know very little about using a repository. My site has several ongoing app customizations as well as the usual ongoing design changes.

I'd really appreciate some guidance on how to use a repository with a Joomla site. The more detailed the better! :D

Thanks Webdongle! If I understand correctly, the documentation is for extensions, not the whole site. Is there a way to use a repository for the whole site?

Edit: I just noticed the moderator instructions to use the Google Group. I'm moving the discussion there.
