script file postFlight function firing on upgrade

Post by rgjoyce » Mon Oct 29, 2012 3:48 pm

Currently if I reinstall an extension that has a scriptFile tag in use, the postFlight function inside the scriptFile is firing. postFlieght should fire only on first install.
To avoid the SQL error that the system will generate because of the code changes I make with my script, I have to perform a count * from #__extensions where ... to find if my extension is installed first, then skip the code in order to avoid the error if it IS installed.
