Showon field atribute in frontend

Showon field atribute in frontend

Hi all,
I have some fields with the attribute "showon=value" that are not working properly in frontend. They are always displayed, no matter what value is assigned.
No problems in backend.

Tested with Joomla 3.6.2 (and 3.5.1).
System: LAMP in Kubuntu 14.04 (Php -v 5.6)

Tested in 2 different installation using both template Protostar and custom templates, native mod_languages and a custom module.

Does anyone has the same problem?
I think you can reproduce it just going and edit the mod_languages (Language Switcher) in frontend (the mod_languages has a couple of "showon" attributes for the fields "Use dropdown" and "Use image flags").

Can you test using the default Joomla! Protostar template? Does it work then?
