Standardpage - modules disappeared

Standardpage - modules disappeared

Suddenly at our homepage (joomla 3.6) some modules dissappeared at the standard page only. The modules are published and they have a template position, but you cannot see them. Until now we had no problems with the modules and the position. At the other pages they are allright.
We just tried php 7.1, before it was php 7. After that we changed back, but the problem is still there. Could this be the reason? Thanks for help.
