Joomla! 4.2.6 RC1 - Ready for Testing

The Production Team has a Release Candidate for Joomla 4.2.6 RC1 that is ready for testing. The more people that test in different environments, the better the release can be (on 13th December 2022).

DO NOT TEST ON A LIVE/PRODUCTION SITE but rather on a copy of a production site with the owners permission.

Specific tests Production would like:

• Upgrade a 3.10 page with repeatable fields to 4.2 successfully (https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/39245)
• Links in articles like href="mailto:[email protected]" should keep their styling now (https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/36269)
• Logging out on a multilingual website menu item should redirect correctly(https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/39251)
• Categories should not be batch moved when there are categories with the same alias (https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/39158)

Again, DO NOT TEST ON A LIVE/PRODUCTION SITE! Rather, test on a copy of a website that you have permission to use.
