Module Class Suffix in Joomla 4

I am relatively new to Joomla 3 (bootstrap 2.3.2) and uses a lot of module class suffix hidden-*

I understand that user will need to update each module class suffix with bootstrap 4 compatible suffix after upgrade. To make it easier for upgrade from Joomla 3 (BS 2.3.2) to Joomla 4 (BS4), I was thinking of starting to include module class suffix that works on BS4 along with the existing once that works on BS2.3.2

e.g.
To display on phone only
hidden-desktop (for Joomla 3)
hidden-tablet (for Joomla 3)
d-md-none (for Joomla 4)

To display on small tablet and above
hidden-phone (for Joomla 3)
d-none .d-md-block (for Joomla 4)

Will there be any issue on using the above method that might eventually break after upgrade to Joomla 4 when it releases?
