Hi, I think Joomla! core developers just chose Vanilla Javascript instead of some JS framework (the Media manager in J!4 is an exception based on VueJs, but from different discussions, it seems like it is very problematic - e.g. when unique desing should be applied to Media manager, when fixing bugs, etc.).

BTW - in last time I just read a lot of different discussion posts where users just move from VueJs to jQuery back (because of a clearer code, because of not mixing Javascript and Html code - for example jQuery events work without any changes to Html code, because of proven and correct Ajax functions, because of not relying on apps, etc. etc.).

So, even I love VueJs, I don't think, it should be applied everywhere it can be applied. So I understand the way, Joomla! core developers chose - not jQuery but Vanilla and if Vanilla then no framework.

So, I personally don't have any problem with using VueJs3 in Joomla! 4 but it really seems the Vanilla JS maybe fits better for Joomla! (because of the style Joomla! is written). But really hard to say.
