Then why is there only language support for en_GB, nl-NL and de-DE in J4 rc?

Maybe because the rest was not ready, and we couldn't wait for all other languages to be available?
I'd expect that now Joomla is out of beta, other languages will follow soon.

As for never using another language, yes it is unlikely I will use another language but not completely out of the question.

People need t i m e to make these extra languages I guess. If no people step in for specific languages there will take more time before they are updated. Simple logic I guess though Joomla is not a company only voluntarly good working guys.

New Joomla 4 Release Candidate every two weeks until Joomla 4 Stable is released.

Joomla step up and now get a Birtday present - stable Joomla 4 (incredible) release on 17:th August.
