joomla.com needs an ABUSE email address

Post by JS1999 » Sun Jan 12, 2020 9:48 am

Hello :D

Sooo.... Joomla offers web hosting, but has no ABUSE@ email address or abuse reporting form, leading to DOZENS of phishing websites, such as:

Code: Select all

https://nubank-ativar-conta.joomla.com/home/index1.php?20,01,43,am,000000,42,2020,q,04,/admin.asp
Admin: If you are going to have web hosting.... Have an abuse email address :o

See viewtopic.php?f=805&t=971000 (similar question).

The "abuse" email address for joomla.com is https://www.cloudaccess.net/about-us/contact-us.html

Apparently not, because when emailed, they indicate they are only a company that assists Joomla..

Here's another phish:

Code: Select all

In Microsoft Edge the reported URL goes to a page "Login - Nubank", clearly suspicious, but the victims end up on that page after clicking a link from a phishing email, purportedly from their bank.

Google Chrome at least reports the page as "Dangerous" and "Deceptive site ahead".

I have just submitted a new message about this topic through the same contact form to CloudAccess.net, the hosting company, asking what the company is doing about sites that breach the Terms of Service.
