Need Help WIth FPA

Post by CWEIDE » Sun May 23, 2021 9:20 pm

Hello All,

I have a problem with my website. But before I can get help with that problem I had to have an entirely new problem created. How do I use the FPA? I get to this part:

Locate the fpa-en.php file in the unarchived FPA Package folder and transfer or copy it to your sites web-root (/) directory.

The same location where you see the "administrator/" folder and configuration.php file.

And I don't know what I'm doing or where I'm going.

Would anybody be so kind as to just take a screencap of where I need to be?

The "root" folder in this context is where Joomla is installed.

That might be the main home directory of your hosting e.g. public_html (or some similar name like htdocs) So you would upload fpa_en.php to "public_html" and browse to the file like yoursite.com/fpa-en.php.

If you installed Joomla in a sub-folder you'd upload to (for example) public_html/site-1 (site-1 then becomes the web-root folder) and browse to the file like yoursite.com/site-1/fpa-en.php.

If you're still stuck contact your web host for assistance on where to locate your joomla install and where to upload the FPA file.
