FPA script run problems

Post by bsevier » Fri Feb 11, 2022 2:14 am

Well, was going to run FPA to help diagnose issues with a site I migrated to a new hosting service. Downloaded, expanded, ran it from the site url, and got.... nothing but the site page itself?!! No errors, nothing! I've used it on other sites I've worked on (built, migrated, etc.) and always just ran and did what it was supposed to...

Ideas?

Ben

Did you try to run FPA version 1.6.5 at the website mentioned in your topic User General SQL error on login, other?

Joomla 3.4.8 (yes, old), php 5.36
PHP 5.3.6 was released in March 2011. Joomla 3.4.8 was released in December 2015 and it may still work in PHP 5.3.6, but the FPA has been updated to support latest versions of PHP, which may render the FPA incompatible with PHP 5.3.

Download an old version of FPA from https://github.com/ForumPostAssistant/F ... ses?page=3 or earlier and see if it generates the results.

I assume you downloaded FPA v1.6.5. FPA 1.6.5 will not work with old versions of PHP or J!.

If you want to use the FPA tool with PHP 5.3.6 you need an older version of the FPA tool. Try this version instead: https://github.com/ForumPostAssistant/F ... v1.4.6.zip

FYI, if you are thinking about updating to J! 3.10 you should be using PHP 5.6 now and after updating to J! 3.10 you should be using PHP 7.4 (as a minimum).
