AFAIK, no. There hasn't been an update to the roadmap—as far as J! framework v2.0 is concerned—for more than two years.

Thanks, @brian, but I don't understand what you wrote. I asked a similar question on this subject here: viewtopic.php?f=803&t=983281

It was never answered.

I asked (last November) what version of the J! framework was used with J! 4.0 (which was J! 4.0 beta at that time). The OP asks what version of the J! framework is currently implemented with J! 4.0 RC1. The questions are similar.

Your mystifying reply definitely applies to my question.

From what you wrote earlier in this topic, I interpret this to mean that framework is currently in a beta v2.0 stage of development. It is not clear, from what you wrote, if this beta development for the framework is currently implemented in J! 4.0 RC1 CMS (or if v2.0 of the framework will be used when J! 4.0 reaches stable). There are two parts to this question. One part deals with the framework and the other part deals with the CMS and, put them together, are they connected.

Am I right in my interpretation of what you wrote? You were talking about the framework but not the CMS? I'm just seeking some clarity.

Thank you. That's crystal-clear.

The J! 4.0 RC1 CMS currently includes the [some/most/all parts of the] in-development/beta release of v2.0 of the J! framework. :)

The roadmap document hasn't been updated but that's not important.

There's more information here: https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/is ... -855721918

This may answer your question: it's a developer/coder tool. See https://framework.joomla.org/
