Joomla on Linux OS

Post by hbfg_admin01 » Sat May 14, 2022 1:32 am

I have been using Joomla for several years using W8 and W10 OS
Recently moved to Linux ( Ubuntu) and I have found that the media file doesn't work or display any stored images.
All of the images are still there if I use Windows but empty on Linux.
I cannot upload new images.
I use Firefox for both MS and Linux OS
can any one help please?

Welcome to the Joomla forum!

Are the images in the media folder when you access the folder using FTP, WinSCP or File Manager from cPanel? Do the permissions allow the folder to be accessed? Any error messages?

Please post the results from the Forum Post Assistant (FPA) by following the instructions at so that the configuration can be reviewed.
