K2 to Joomla Articles?

Post by mlenguaepro » Wed Aug 10, 2022 10:30 am

Howdy guys.......it gives the idea that K2 have still not delivered a J4 variant, so I want to import the K2 classification and K2 things into Joomla content tables.

The tables required are:
_k2_categories
_k2_items

Could anyone at any point prompt on the questions I'd have to run in PHPmyAdmin?

Hello mlenguaepro, welcome to the forum.

The biggest problem is that the database structure of K2 does not correspond to that of Joomla.

This thread could help viewtopic.php?f=808&p=3666423

The ideal would be a k2 developer's response on this topic, or wait for the release of a possible version for Joomla 4.

Quite simple actually. We have multiple 3rd party plugins available to bring K2 crap back to Joomla. See for instance https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/ ... ion-plugin
