Hi

I'm used Joomla for quite some years now, and normally this kind of error is because the developer forgot to unzip their extension, thus Joomla can't detect the XML file to initiate the installation

The extension that i tried to install is tested working fine with localhost joomla, shouldn't need to be unzipped

Joomla will work without renaming htaccess.txt to .htaccess but there are advantages of renaming it.
