Cant save article with massive custom field content

Hi guys,

Currently Im struggling with a problem regarding saving an article that has a lot of content stored.

The cenario is:

Article that contains content stored in a subform custom field, for images and text field.
It has 429 entries
Content is server via a Yootheme PRO builder page(but even without this fails).
Trying to save the article, via any of the save buttons returns to articles without the changes, and no message of success/error is shown.

The only way to successfully edit the article is by drammatically reduce the number of entries on the subform(more than 100) which is not the intended.

Tried debugging this but without success, increase the memory limit until 4G assuming it could be regarding this matter no dice.

Is there some server parameter that need upgrade that Im I missing?

Is there a limit to how much information could be stored in a field value?
