Customise Default Alerts Style

Post by yerg » Tue Apr 02, 2024 5:28 am

The system alerts styles clash with my site template.

I'm looking to change those alert styles to function as an alert rather than merge into nothing for users

The two files that are referenced are ...
/media/joomla-custom-elements/joomla-alert.css
/media/joomla-custom-elements/joomla-alert-min.css

For example any modifications to this specific style, they are not reflected in the front end.

Code: Select all

joomla-alert[type="info"] {
  background-color: var(--jui-alert-info-background-color,#d1ecf1);
  border-color: var(--jui-alert-info-border-color,#bee5eb);
  color: var(--jui-alert-info-color,#0c5460);
Oh and all cache etc is disabled and browser cache is cleared as well

Thanks in advance

Do you have a link?

Press F12 in your browser to open the Developer Tools and investigate.

Per I used the dev tools to work out the style locations and changed the files accordingly.

Will revert if I can get another site to achieve the same out come issues

Thanks

Per I activated another site under development

Go to the link and order 1 item
https://newfreedombakery.com.au/2023/br ... ette-small
Then select "Proceed to Checkout"
The alert "The total value of your order is too low.
The minimum order is $30.00" is an example of what I'm seeking to change the style of.

It references the css file ... https://newfreedombakery.com.au/2023/me ... .css?0.2.0
