Getting error messages when trying to install template

Hi
I'm trying to drag & drop a template via drag & drop and getting the 2 error messages:
JInstaller: :Install: Can't find XML setup file.
danger: Unable to detect manifest file.

Any idea?

How large is the file? If it's Megabytes, it's probably q Quick Start Package and not a Template.
Unzip the Package and see if it contains the Setup xml File.

Just to clarify...

As Per mentioned, if it is indeed a Quick Start package then it must be installed like a fresh Joomla installation. The reason being, it would contain core Joomla files along with the relevant template and/or the extensions that the template uses, and the database content.

In short, it would be a site by itself. So, installing it as a template is not possible.
