In the administrator panel, not all articles are visible

Post by Giraffex » Fri Mar 15, 2024 11:40 am

Hello everyone, I have a problem with editing articles. It's been a while since I've used the administrator backend, so it's hard for me to say whether the problem occurred after migrating from version 3 to 4, or during one of the updates. The issue is that not all articles are visible on the articles list in the administrator panel. There are only 14 articles displayed on the list, while there are 39 in the database. As a result, I can't edit most of the articles. Strangely, the articles that are not visible in the administrator panel are still showing up on the front page. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Does anyone know how to solve this? :'(

Yes. Probably the invisible articles are missing an entry in the Workflow Table that did not exist in J3.

Are you referring to the _workflows table? I see only one record in it  . Is there any extension that fixes this problem collectively? Do you have to add each article separately? :geek:

Welcome. Today I had to update the content on the site and came to face the problem again. I compared the visible articles in the admin panel with the invisible ones.

Solution: all articles that had state set to 2 in mysql in the prefix__content table were not visible in the admin panel. On the front end they were visible. Manually changing from 2 to 1 solved the problem.

Thank you all for your involvement. I hope my post will help someone too.

I don't remember what state 2 is, but they are the following: Unpublished, Published, Archived and Trashed

To see Archived or Trashed Articles, you have to change the filter in Article Manager.
