Link photo to Lightbox creates full screen

When editing an article, inserting a photo, marking the photo and choosing to make a link from the photo I chose "lightbox" (has allways worked 100% in J3). Save the page.
Open the saved page in browser and click the picture, the result is, that the picture is shown "full screen" without the usual "x" button to close the lightbox.
Only possibility is to navigate backwards in the browser.

Is this a wellknown issue?

To remove the control buttons, the X button. You should take a look at the code, in the module's css.

Obviosly I have not made myself understandable.
When I edit an article and insert an image - which I chose to reduce in size e.g. 300x200px in properties - and want to make it possible to se the image in full size - e.g. 1200x800px.
1 - I click the image
2 - I click the anchor to make a link
3 - I write the addres to my 1200x800px sized image
4 - I clik the "arrow down" (have a look at my image enclosed)
5 - I choose the option "lightbox" and click OK
Normaly the lightbox will apear with my 1200x800px image, and top right the normally will be an "X" to close the lightbox again - anyway, that's how it works with J3.
In J4 the lightbox option returns an image "screen fullsize", and the only way to return to the original page is by clicking the bakwards arrow ind the browser.

That is not the way lightbox is supposed to work.

You must have been using some sort of lightbox script, either as extension or in your template. It's not part of J3.

Installed Mediabox CK.
Now it works.
