Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
it is difficult to see further now because you have put the front website in maintenance.
What I did see is that a plug-in is no longer checked in (lock is shown)
so check them in again.
But you can also take a look at your language menus. Modules, did you even create them (have a screen shot of your menu modules)

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
maybe a stupid question from me
but why not try to make a test multilingual website joomla 4 locally on your pc with Wamp64 or xampp with their sample data then you might find out faster where things go wrong.
then you will see something like my pictures and you can compare with the live site

Re: Error after SSL activation
I did the process but at step 4 "Go to your domain, appending the FPA script to the URL: https://www.domain.tld.cc/fpa-en.php."
I tried and it doesn't display anything...

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
Okay I found the problem. I have turned the menu into a navbar and it works.
However, the three language menus don't show the "our product" menu which is a separator...
And my redirection problem is not solved...
OFFLINE site -> TOO MANY REQUEST
Site ONLINE -> 404 article not found (with SSL)

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
Looking at the fpa and Leen57's screenshots of how multi language menus should look .... imho it is your configurations of the menus that is the cause of your errors.

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
i'm not sure but it seems that the Website is built with that Yootheme builder and a Template which are all up to date
and suitable for Joomla 4.0.3
Have you ever tried anything with Default template
Cassiopeia - Default to test.
And as long as the Website is on Site Offline, you can't really see what works or what doesn't in the language menus

Yes maybe but I don't know because I used the "Multilingual Sample Data" and I did exactly like in the tuto...

No because I use Yootheme Pro to do my website every time. Maybe the better think to do is to download my layout and restart to crash. I mean, I delete every think in the hosting and joomla... but it will be the last solution...

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
I looked at your first posted question again and looked for that error.
I find something similar to this could be the cause for you too
of that error.
https://superuser.com/questions/1539972 ... -for-linux
it's difficult because I don't understand in what kind of environment
modify the website.
Maybe it's useful for someone you trust
create a temporary administrator in the website
and send that login data via PM message or E-mail
so that he can see where things might go wrong.

I just looked and I don't see what he's talking about. I don't think it solves my problem. For someone I trust, I asked OVH support and even OVH's partner companies and nobody answered.

I didn't really modify the server, I left it like that. It is set up automatically I think. Otherwise yes I am the only one to modify the server. The hosting is provided by OVHcloud.

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
Maybe you can get something out of this
Click in Administrator Home Dashboard
for multi language status on the top button
and then you can see if it is right or wrong

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
Hello,
Here are the many screenshots attached.
I guess it's also a configuration problem between Yootheme and Joomla.

1) Have you removed the extra redirects you have put into the .htaccess file?
2) Use the Multi Language Status Admin Module to check your Multi Language configuration.

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
I just saw this topic on yootheme's forum.
His main page http://www.unimedtec.com/ redirects well to https://www.unimedtec.com/index.php/it/.
My site itself works fine, just need to find a way to redirect http(and https)://www.teamoptc.com to https://www.teamoptc.com/en/.

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
If this is the main page, it is not published and does not correspond to any page. It must be in All language and cannot be associated. Maybe that's the problem...

Re: Error after SSL activation in multi-language site
You are wrong.
1) Joomla uses a cookie, so a visitor will return to the same language.
2) When first time visit, either the site default language is selected or the language set in the browser.
This is configured in the Language Filter Plugin.
The language folder for the default language can also be removed.

This information is undoubtedly interesting but it does not solve the problem.
