How to change the language string for "Login failed"?

I have just beat my head agains the wall for a while now trying to find the language constant for the "Login failed" message. Go here and try logging in with blank info and you will see the message:

The text string "Login failed" is not available in core Joomla!

Probably it could be coming from the extension JomSocial and/or the template that are/is being used in the site.

In case if the string "Login failed" is defined as the value in a language sting (of the extension or template) reviewing the corresponding language files would help. If it is coming from a language string, you could do simple text search for the string in the files of your site. Alternatively, you could go to the screen "Languages: Overrides" (System=> Manage > Language Overrides) and search for the string. Make to search in both Administrator and Site.

In case if the string is hard-coded, you could explore the possibility of using HTML override technique as documented at https://docs.joomla.org/Understanding_Output_Overrides.
