latest finnish translation keeps triggering update messagese Topic is solved

When I install the latest Finnish translation package (version 4.1.1.2) this new install triggers an update messages telling me to install the latest version of the lagugae packages. As the latest version is already installed, this update message keeps returning.

I looked in the various xmlfiles and found in the pkg_fi-FI.xml file this:
"<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<extension type="package" method="upgrade">
<name>Finnish (fi-FI) Language Pack</name>
<packagename>fi-FI</packagename>
<version>4.1.1</version>
<creationDate>March 2022</creationDate>..."

So perhaps this <version>4.1.1</version> line triggers al these update messages???

Is there a - preferable simple - way to change the file(s) to stop the eternal update messages??

Your assumption is correct. The behavior is due to the version number 4.1.1 mentioned in the file pkg_fi-FI.xml.

If the version number is 4.1.1.2 then the issue you are encountering will not happen.

You could download and install the attached Finnish language pack as an Extension. The problem will not occur again.

All I have done is to change the version number to 4.1.1.2 in the file pkg_fi-FI.xml.
