Problem Multilingual site SEO settings Topic is solved

I state that the site has migrated from version 3.10 and that it already had the problem. I was hoping for a fix with version 4. Multilingual site which is configured exactly like another new site and has no origin from old versions.
I've tried them all and can't find anything like this on the forums. IF I configure SEO as from a working site, the result is This: I write URL fatcom.it, it becomes fatcomp.it/it/, but the home page is not visible and there is Error 403.
To view the home page I have to disable "Rewrite SEF URL"

Go to Extensions > Plug-in Manager > System - Language Filter > Basic Options: set "Remove URL Language Code" to "Yes".

Leolam is not good. I had already tried this solution.
If I set "Remove URL Language Code" to "Yes" this happens:
The home page is visible - this is the URL https://www.fatcomp.it
All the other pages, in the two languages, are not seen correctly. You see the message "Oops! that page can't be found..."
I repeat, the settings are the same as on another site, multilingual, fully functional. This has the same htaccess file.
All menus and items are set up the same. But if you see the page is generated with Error 403 , Forbidden, Access to this resource on the server is denied!
But why is it forbidden? what is it that does this?

After reading many posts I think the problem is a folder or something where the index.html or index.php file is missing. But only featured articles (home page)!
From a first check, everything doesn't seem ok. (comparison with another site)
Does anyone know where is the Joomla 4 articles related folder?

I hope others don't make my stupid mistake.
Thinking of doing something useful for Google was to generate two sitemaps in Italian and English. Then Create two folders in the ROOT with names "it" and "en" where to insert the respective sitemaps.
The big mistake and not having tested the site right away, I would have noticed the problem. Instead I focused on using Google sitemaps.
So time passed and I didn't remember doing this. Now I see the folders and I said to myself “what the hell are there two folders with sitemaps!!” Hell, they don't exist on other sites.

Solved, delete the "it" and "en" folders
