You would get this message if a component is trying to make an entry in a database table where the table name field is not in the submitted data or is null and the table does not allow the field to be null.

You need to go to Global Configuration and set Debug System to Yes and Error Reporting to Maximum. The trigger the error again. This time you should give you a stack trace from which it may be possible to identify which component is causing the error.

Do the debug thing to find out where the problem is triggered. And/or switch on logging and log almost everything - then look in administrator/logs. Otherwise we are just guessing.

The error message does not tell us which table is involved and so we can't properly explain why you're getting the error. If we knew which table was involved we may have better advice but, for the present time, I agree with @ceford's conclusions:

Assuming you can access your website's backend:

1) go to System » Global Configuration » Server » Error Reporting = Maximum

2) go to System » Global Configuration » System » Debug System = Yes

... and then try to do what you were doing before. Please then include the details of what errors you then find.

As a side-note, it doesn't help if I or anyone else writes, "I have tested the installation of 4.1.3 without any problems." I understand that you have a problem and I think we should accept your statement without suggesting you've misrepresented the facts. For all we know, there may be a genuine problem with some new installations of J! 4.1.3 and it would be good to the bottom of it. 8)

If you cannot access your website's backend because of the error message, please let us know.
“If you think I’m wrong then say, ‘I think you’re wrong.’ If you say ‘You’re wrong!’, how do you know?” :)
