Transfer using Akeeba getting 500 error Topic is solved

Hello.

I transferred a site to a new hosting environment using Akeeba (which I've done many times) and my installation is showing a "500" error.

This is the error I see in "Debug:

mysqli_sql_exception

Unknown column 'm.publish_up' in 'where clause'

Looks like another case of entering a value in the Live Site field when using the Akeeba restore procedure. See viewtopic.php?f=811&t=998357#p3680998 for more information.

Thank you sooooo much to everyone who replied here.

It indeed WAS the live site issue. I've been working in Joomla since V1.5 and this is the first I've ever heard of that particular issue. I'm so glad that there are experts here who could help me out.

One note: I'm don't know why, but simply removing the live site in the configuration file did not solve the problem. I actually ended up doing an uninstall/reinstall without the live site entry and that worked.
