Problem with install

Hi
as it explained i downloaded the latest joomla version, then i unzipped and then I transfered all the files to the server througth a ftp client (winserver).
Now when i try to install and go to my_url_website/installation i'm redirected to a very strange url:
my_url_website/installation/installation/installation/installation/installation/installation/installation/installation/installation/installation/index.php.

Do somebody have any idea where can come from the problem.
I had a look in the error log from cpanel, but nothing, no errors.

Try uploading the zip file to your server and then unzip there. Quite often ftping files to a server corrups them.
