Can't get past config permission error

Hey all got a problem.

I managed to get past a permission issue just to start the install process of Joomla 4.x. However, I am stuck at another issue. Even with permission set correct I get the following.

no matter what I do I can't get past this issue. I have even done the nuclear option of setting permissions on my testing server to 777, temporarily, when that didn't work I came here to ask for help.

I'm running my local testing server on EndeavourOS (an Arch derivative) and have inclued my fpa info.

Open base should be empty.
Session path Writeable must be yes.
Max. Upload Size: 2M | Max. POST Size: 8M, Too small, set both to 128M.
Memory Limit: 128M abit small set to 256M.

well after doing everything possible i can't get past the session path writable issue. so unfortunately I need to go with a different CMS. I never had this situation with any of the previous versions of Joomla, Or if I did, the documentation during installation was more helpful than now.

Have you chown all files to the user www-data?

I will recommend using fpm-cgi rather than apacheHandler.

If you are working on a personal computer that only you have access to then you can configure the Apache user / group to be you / your group and make the server root point to /home/yourusername/public_html. Then you can make as many sites as you like in your own file space and the access problems go away.
