Login Form

When a user logs into the website at

https://pollenz.net/index.php/login-form

they are sent to

https://pollenz.net/index.php?Itemid=114

which is a menu heading so they get an error message. I have attempted in the login module to change the login redirection page to my home page at

https://pollenz.net/index.php

which is item id 102. However, the system still wants to send the user to item id 114. I have enabled redirection and am redirecting for now, but that is really not a solution to the login module not sending the user to the correct page after logging in.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Your login page is handled by the login menu-item, not the login module.

Go to your login menu item.
Set the redirect under the tab Options.

Thanks very much. That did the trick.

One more question... if a user is not logged in, is it possible to redirect them to the referring url when they do log in? For example, if a logged out user clicks on the "Part Three" menu item under the "Chapters" menu heading, the login form will be displayed. After logging in, is it possible to redirect them back to the "Part Three" (or whatever they clicked on before being directed to the login form)?

I don't know if the core login form module does it but this one will do what you want (direct user back to the page they were trying to access): https://extensions.joomla.org/extension ... /ut-login/
